Stephen Rayfield

Stephen is a partner at law firm Herbert Smith Freehills. He is a corporate lawyer with significant experience working in the infrastructure sector and with public bodies.

Stephen helps his clients through the whole life-cycle of their activities, helping to design investment structures, operational structures, routes to market and joint ventures to meet his clients’ particular requirements. He has extensive experience working in emerging markets and for clients looking to make investments in new and unfamiliar areas.

Stephen often works closely with colleagues specialising in areas such as procurement, state aid and public law to design and implement corporate and contractual structures and procurement arrangements for public bodies. Stephen also advises private sector bodies on their dealings with the public sector.
