Mr Mark Mikhail

Mark Mikhail is a Specialist Registrar in Plastic and Reconstructive surgery. Mark attended Medical School at Imperial College London followed by early clinical years in the Oxford Deanery and he will now complete his specialist training in London. With a keen interest in innovation; Mark is a fellow of the NHS Clinical Entrepreneur Programme and member of the British Association of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgeons (BAPRAS) Innovation Specialist Interest Group.

In 2018 Mark developed a medical education app, trialled at Oxford University and is the lead on two national clinical trials in Plastic Surgery. He has written a chapter for a plastic surgery textbook as well as a module for the national plastic surgery e-Learning package (e-LPRAS).

Patient safety and leadership have come to the fore in Mark’s career; he has worked with the CQC on developing inspection methodology and he is on a number of national committees including Secretary of the Cosmetic Practice Standards Authority (CPSA) and the current work with Process C19.
